Yerba mate is very popular in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Southern Brazil due to the combination of natural caffeine and theobromine (the magic in chocolate). The effect of this combination produces a clean (jitter free) feel good energy.

Mr CrafTea has over 20 years experience in the yerba mate business. One thing he has learned over the years is that the taste of yerba mate can be difficult for some to get used because it can be bitter, smoky, with somewhat of a barnyard taste.
